The Idea our group has decided to create is Zack's idea of a teacher heading to his classroom with a box of PG tips under his arm. He gets to the classroom and walks in; the students are being really rowdy; the teacher put the PG tips down and goes to write on the white board but the pen doesn't work so he leaves the classroom and goes into his office to get another pen. When he returns to the classroom all of his students freeze; they are all drinking tea, some are reading newspapers, playing cards with tea bags as chips and one is about to eat a biscuit but it drops into his tea. The slogan then comes up next to the box of PG tips and a hand comes up and grabs it.
We hope that this advert will stimulate desire for younger people to drink more tea because of its use of younger performers and the comical way it will be done; we also want to get the message across that it's okay to like tea and not be an adult like the stereotype suggests.
The style of the advert will be quite comical and the shot types will try to also be funny with quick cuts and zooms until the finale when every thing will be quite still. The funniness of the advert and the desire that the teenagers in the class shows to have the tea will have the most relevence to it.
*On the sugar paper on the 'Brief/Client/Brand' it has teenagers as the clients; the clients are actually PG tips because they are the ones paying to have the advert made.
